Love this twisted wire tip from
@Beadstoflame 🔥 If you want to make twisted wire to use as a decorative rim around a bezel, start by twisting the end of your wire just enough so your drill chuck has something to grip. Secure the other end, either with pliers, a helpful extra set of hands, or something attached to your bench, and let the drill spin until you get the twist you want. After twisting, make sure to anneal the wire. It will be very springy at first, but as the metal heats up you can actually watch it relax, which is always extremely satisfying. In this video, both examples are made from two pieces of 22 gauge wire. The top piece was twisted a little more tightly, while the bottom piece has a looser twist, so you can really see how much the amount of twisting changes the look. Gah! I love this technique. The cordless Dremel is great too! It allows freedom to go anywhere in your studio! Thank you so much to Lisa
