“1️⃣ It’s super important to clear the corners of your setting! As you can see in the video, the diamond should not rest on the corners.
2️⃣ Once you’ve moved the metal sideways toward the stone, use an angled hammer to gently move the metal slightly over the stone from above. Diamonds can usually handle this, but if you’re working with colored stones, proceed with extra caution. With practice, you’ll get that nice, even material coverage and a stunning bright cut!”
