Steel wool has been a popular material to use on finishing jewelry for as long as I’ve been making jewelry. On and off 25 years! Here is a tip from @hngrained<br><br>“Just a tip for fellow artisans that work with steel wool! Keep a strong magnet close by to collect those peaky (and messy) fibers while you work! A great way to help keep the bench clean (ish) while crafting holiday inventory! Small, but helpful 🤓”
This is important because micro bits of steel wool can make their way into your pickle pot and contaminate it, they can also hide on a finished piece and then create a rust! So use that steel wool, just be mindful of cleaning it up!
