This stand alone belt sander from
@durstontools is my newest addition to my studio. I really love that this compact belt sander can be mounted on the side of my bench and put into use whenever I need it. Belt sanders that connect to my flex shaft are less expensive (because instead of having their own motor they use the flex shaft) but if I need to go back and forth between sanding and using my flex shaft it’s nice to have a stand alone like this. I love that it has variable speeds and comes with a wide variety of grits. You can also tilt the sander making it pretty versatile.
