@lionpunchforge @marquisjewelryacademy is a fantastic addition to my toolbox. When I want to divide a ring for flushset stones, or engraving or balancing a design component on the front and back of a ring. You could use it for wax carvings as well.
@emilymarquisdesigns stopped by my studio and did this demo which included dividing the ring to file some repeating curves. There is also an 80mm measurement at the bottom which is perfect for quickly measuring bezels or ring shanks or whatever else! You can absolutely print and even laminate a paper template but I love that this steel one is durable and will last forever!
