Hammering  tip  from  @macksonstudio  -  “So  if  you're  working  with  two  small  pieces  of  metal  that  you  need  to  hammer  flat  you  know  they  can  tend  to  fly  everywhere  so  try  this  instead:
Take  a  piece  of  clear  packing  tape  and  tape  your  pieces  down  to  your  hammering  block,  making  sure  they're  nice  and  secure.  Then  just  hammer  away  until  both  pieces  are  flat.
Then  once  they're  done  to  make  sure  they're  straight,  grab  them  with  your  pliers  using  a  cloth  between  them  so  as  not  to  mar  your  metal  and  then  lightly  tap  the  sides  until  the  pieces  are  straightened.  Then  voila,  you  have  two  flat  straight  pieces  of  metal  you  can  shape  into  your  next  pair  of  earrings!”  Thank  you  so  much  for  sharing  this  with  us!  🙌  We  appreciate  it!!
