 
         
         
        
           How  to  create  a  patina  with  sulfur  from  an  egg  from  @missioncreekmetal  -  “
1.  Take  1-2  eggs  hard  boiled  depending  on  the  size  of  your  project.  (For  this  one  I  just  used  1  egg  since  it  was  a  small  ring).  
2.  Peel  the  shell  off  the  egg,  and  mash  the  white  part  and  yolk  together  in  an  airtight  ziplock  bag.  and  then  add  your  jewelry  piece!  
3.  Mix  the  egg  and  piece  around  together  for  a  few  mins,  and  then  let  the  sulfur  do  the  magic!  You’ll  notice  a  bronze  color  after  just  a  couple  mins.  The  longer  you  leave  it  in,  the  blacker  it  gets.  It  took  about  10-12  mins  to  achieve  the  dark  patina  I  have  on  this  ring.”  Thank  you  Auxie  this  is  definitely  the  safest  technique  for  making  a  dark  patina  on  silver  and  you  did  a  great  job!  #eggpatina  #silverpatina  #jewelrypatina
