Here is a #diy ventilation solution from @fifthelementjewelry - “This DIY ventilation idea came from a metalsmith society tip that was shared a long time ago but I finally got around to it and am so glad I did! I’ve been concerned for a while that my little fume extractor wasn’t doing enough for big solder jobs, so I installed a vent system using a can fan and some aluminum ducting. It’s the simplest system and it works SO well. Check out the power in the suction! All parts together cost under $100.
The fan I bought is a VIVOSUN 4 inch 190 cfm ventilation fan used for grow tents and it works wonders.
