Your file has a saving side, a side without any grooves. If you place this side down and run your file through the slot you’ve made, you’ll be able to file with a steady hand. Give pressure as you run your file forward, and release pressure when you pull it back. Once you’ll get the hang of it filing will be so much more efficient this way. Good luck!” Thank you Bergje!
