Here is a sanding tip from
@danacfear - “I have to sand a lot of flat surfaces so I use a 18x18” plexiglass board with 3M’s adhesive-backed micro finishing film from Rio Grande, item number 337707. On one side I have two sheets of 100 grit, one fresher than the other, then the other side I use half sheets of 80, 60, 40, 30, 15 and 6 grit. I start with the most coarse and work my way down, paying close attention to keeping even pressure on the piece so I don’t sand too heavy on one side. To help protect my fingers from heat and pokey pieces I use alligator tape. Cheers!” Love this so much Dana! Thank you for taking the time to share with us and I love that 3M adhesive backed film!
