  Here is a tip for holding a bracelet mandrel from @mariannejenningsstudio - “Stick a piece of wood inside the bottom of the mandrel( the wood is larger inside the mandrel and then I cut it down in width to fit the vice ( leave a piece sticking out ) and put it in your vice. Works like a charm.” A heavy duty vise is such an important and versatile tool.
