#tooltalktuesday I am revisiting a tool I shared back in 2018 and still use regularly: my Superior Ring Bending Tool from our friends
@pepetools_usa as some of you know I have recently moved into a new studio space and I now have a bit more counter space. I mounted my Ring Bender directly onto my counter and it has been game changing! The convenience of having it ready to go means I’ve been using it even more! If you don’t have counter space you just place in a vise and it works great. This Ring Bender Tool comes with Delrin (the white) and steel dies that allow you to form rings quickly. I sped my video up a little but this was about a minute. If you are someone that likes to work with patterned wire I absolutely love how you can form with the Delrin and it does not mark your wire in the slightest. That’s huge because once you mar patterned wire you can’t really fix it so forming needs to be done carefully. This tool has been super helpful when I work with harder metals like 14k gold or when in general the gauge is much thicker and it is harder to hammer or form with pliers. It is an incredible tool to add to your studio or your wishlist for the future. There is now an additional option to get Delrin posts as well!
