@lindseysnellmetal "Something I love about learning from other jewelers is finding out about that βso easy Iβm embarrassed I didnβt think of itβ trick! This one saved me from dozens of headaches. If you are making a pair (or a dozen!) earrings and are tired of that tiny earring post slipping or soldering at a funny angleβyouβve got to try this: . . Secure the earring post to fit perfectly level (straight up from the surface itβs soldered to) by using a small square needle file and filing a set of vertical grooves in the cross locking tweezers. I filed a grove about 2mm from the very tip on both of the sides that clasp together and the earring post fits nice and snug. This doesnβt impact the normal function of the tweezers at all and will cut down production time ππ©πΌβπ " Thank you Lindsey!! 5 years later but we did it LOL
