@jblissstudios - “Creating texture with the rolling mill is an easy and fun way to add dimension to your work. In this video I use a piece of shielding I got a re-use store, a piece of mesh armature wire, and a leaf. In order to protect the plates of the rolling mill I sandwich my annealed sterling silver between two work hardened pieces of brass. Keep in mind that your material will stretch in the rolling mill. It’s just like the old souvenir pennies that I remember getting as a kid. I like to start out with circles so I end up with an oval.
