I’ve been running this page for six years in February! I used to share about my merch once a week, it gave me an opportunity to let people know how they could support me and spread the word. It also gave me a day I didn’t have to find a tip because let me tell you finding six years of daily tips hasn’t always been easy. So why did I stop? These posts never seemed to perform well, they didn’t get as many likes or comments and then fewer people saw the posts. I felt more comfortable sharing education than selling. So over time I stopped sharing as often and that was honestly a mistake, because by sharing less I have made less sales and merch is a big way I support myself in the work that I do. As always I’m not sharing this post for sympathy just sharing honestly because we are all small businesses and I think others may find it helpful! ☺️ Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there even when those posts get less engagement! You have to keep going because by not sharing you end up with less/no opportunities! I am so grateful for this community. The new 2024 collection is here and I need to sing it from the rooftops!
