This is one way of doing it ☺️ there are always many techniques that can be used for jewelry making which is why I love our community! I like this technique of using two charcoal blocks to balance your work inbetween because charcoal blocks are affordable and a great soldering surface. You can even do this with a block and a piece that broke off from it. It’s nice to be able to position your heat from below so that you don’t risk melting your bezel wire (which is likely thinner than your backplate 😊) if you have a different soldering set up that you wanted to share with our community I would love for you to shoot me an email at
